La Buena Vista
This home is an island classic and is steps away from the white sand and coconut palms of Pelican Beach!
La Buena Vista truly has one of the most incredible locations on the island and hands down one of the best views. It is close enough to the sea that you can hear the waves lapping against the powder white sand of Pelican Beach but high up enough to take advantage of the views over the azure waters of Pillsbury Sound to St. John, surrounding Cays and the British Virgin Islands all while enjoying the breeze on the traditional West Indian veranda.
From your front porch you can watch races in the St. Thomas Yacht Club hosted Rolex Regatta, which takes place in the spring and is one of the largest yacht races in the Caribbean. In the summer you can watch the fleet of sport fishing boats race across the sound as they return from blue marlin fishing at the famed North Drop. No words can describe the full moon rise over St. John in the summertime, absolutely incredible.
La Buena Vista is a three-bedroom Caribbean style home with a one-bedroom cottage on just under an acre of land. This is a larger than average lot for the island. The property is entirely fenced and has a grassy yard that is relatively flat, a rarity on St. Thomas. From the moment you walk through the front door you will be blown away by the views and the charm of this property.
You can walk to the beach in minute and drive to the east end town of Red Hook in 3 minutes where you will find all the services expected of a small town as well as American Yacht Harbor Marina and the ferry terminal to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Shopping, great restaurants and nightlife can all be found in Red Hook.
